They tell you 40 is a milestone. A year you are supposed to celebrate loudly and prove something. But it does not feel like that to me. It feels quieter. More settled. More reflective. What I feel most is gratitude. I am healthy, surrounded by people I love, and comfortable choosing what actually matters.
